factory michelins
has anybody else had problems with their factory michelins? I came out this morning to find a second bubble on a second tire. I am in the process of buying new tires and rims so it is not of any major concern, just a little annoying.

I have such good luck with these tires. Actually im only my second set at 178000 miles and havent had any problems with the tires except for one nail puncture which had nothing to do with the tire.

Yeah, I've had real good luck with these tires. (Knock on wood). In fact, I'm still riding on the original set of tires that came with the car back in '97. Aside from a slow leak two summers ago caused by a nail, I haven't had any problems with them. My only concern is the way the tires make our cars ride and adds more tire noise to enter the cabin.

The first problem I had was after my 45000 check up. When I went in to pick up the car they told me that they had ruined one of my tires and replaced it free of charge. Then about a month later I noticed that I had a bubble on my front passenger tire, I took it back to Acura and they said that there was no way that this was their problem. So to say the least I had to replace that one. Then two weeks ago a took the car in for the 52500 check up and guess what, a couple of days later I discovered the second bubble. They admit to ruining one tire and two tires have had bubbles mysteriously appear just after having the car in for service. Sounds a little strange to me, but I can't figure out how they might have caused bubbles by balancing and rotating the tires.
Any ideas?
