Yes, the H22/H23 TB bolts right up and you do lose your cruise control. But if you don't get your IM port matched, its kinda useless. I've heard people gaining quite a bit for such an easy mod. You already have a 3" intake, so you won't have to upgrade that to fit.

I think the stock one is 58 and the lude is either 60 or 62. Someone find out for sure.

Well when I had my civic I took out the AC and the cruise control never crossed my mind because you are constantly braking anyway if you drive like a maniac.. like me

How about boring out your exhisting throttle body and intake manifold? And I like the short belt idea. You can also rig a switch to turn off your alternator while you're going down the 1320. It makes a huge difference when there's even a slight draw, like stereo and amps. I think It slowed me down a few tenths of a second when I had my stereo blasting Gran Turismo music. With it completely disconnected you might be able to knock off a couple tenths.

I have not ran my CL. I know it'll be slow though cause it's an auto.

I have no idea how to switch off the alternator, but I'll look into it. When I had my del Sol there was lots of How-too's and a guy was looking at doing this, but I don't know if he did it or not.

But it won't be as benificial if you don't bore out the IM as well. Do you have a dremel? I just got one and it's really cool. Havn't used it much yet, but I will soon.

HONDA 1990-1997 Accord 2.2L; 1998 Accord 2.3L; 1992-1993 Civic & CRX 1.5L; 1992-1998 Civic 1.6L

Beginning with the 1990 model year, certain Hondas were equipped with an Electronic Load Detention (ELD) module which was designed to improve fuel economy by almost shutting off the alternator during light throttle and idle. If the module fails, the ECM loses a sensor and the vehicle may experience stalling, rough idle, or low / no alternator output. Fault code 20 will be set.

If you can tap into this and trick it into staying off, you're set. Just don't forget to turn it back on.

they are interchangeable. but a lot of the f22 tb's have the MAP sensor surface mounted on the top. where the prelude ones have a hose going to the map thats mounted on the firewall. oh and there are lude ones that come with the cruise control stuff on them but they are harder to find.
