exhaust system, "worth it"?for 2.2cl

hey guys i heard u get 5 to 10 hp.
form catback exhaust and headers

i might as well get an exhaust, and forget the
catback exhaust system,
right

600 dollarst for an exhaust system when u
just get 10 ponnies out of it,

if you just get the muffler, chances are you will get absolutely no power from it, it might be a little louder though

you would be lucky if u get an extra 1~2 hp from just replacing the muffler... if catback system is too expensive for you.. then y don't u just have a muffler shop custom bend one for like 170

I doubt even that 1-2hp is even going to happen, jsut think, you ahve the same amount of backpressure being let out of a different muffler

I think what he means is that if you have more power running through your engine than stock, you will be exhausting more air than stock. The time when you need to replace the exhaust is when the engine is exhausting more air than the exhaust can get rid of.

I have a 2.2 with a Header/custom 2.25 pipe/ Hayame Muffler/dropped cat...

car Def feels alot stronger than when it was stock... more torque less HP from my setup...

faster 1/4 time but slower top speed..

if u have a couple hundred to spend.. I highly recommend it! otherwise if u have couple Gs go for H22A or Turbo

Add.. AEM or UR pulleys

VAFC / Venom 400

you'll be decently fast... I pull on most lightly modded tegs and civics / accords on the road.. You could prob hang with a v6 for a while if u have 5 speed... I have auto so I am still a little slower than most v6...

after
Intake, Catback exhaust, header, Pulleys, VAFC / Venom 400, MSD ignition, 9.3mm ignition wires, Iridium plugs, weight deduction... you'll prob be running mid 16s.. i run consistent mid to high 16's with an auto...
