Exhaust opinion

I was looking at replacing mine and saw this one on ebay. Just got an e-mail back from the guy selling and said he has it for a 3.0 CL (the one on ebay is for a TL) Said he would sell it outside the auction for $110+shipping......good deal?.....bad deal?

Yeah it's just the muffler part. It's a PowerTech Racing Performance muffler.

It looks nice, almost identical to mine. That doesnt sound like a bad deal at all. You should get that and go to a guy that does exhausts around your area. He should be able to run a pipe from the cat back and connect your pipe for about $100. Its a little cheaper than buying aftermarket exhaust w/ most of the benefits.

Never heard of the company it looks nice though. I would rather spend a little more and buy quality though. Sometimes those cheap generic brands rot out quick and sound like ass. You can get Magnaflow mufflers similiar to that for maybe $30 more and you know you got a quality muffler. They make mufflers for Thermal R&D, that's what I got. Try this place www.exhaustproslinc.com

It says it has a lifetime warranty and as for the sound he describes this brand as being known to have an "awesome deep throughty tone"

Well I never heard of them and he is an ebay seller so becareful. Do you know anyone with this brand muffler? Magnaflow/Thermal R&D is known for a deep tone and that isn't B.S. either. You can talk to people who have them. Just try to find out more about the muffler, cause I would say spend a little more and buy something that you know is good.

He seems like a legit eBay seller (not as good as me, though--check my sig :P )with a fairly good feedback rating (some negatives, but not related to this item). I'm not familiar with the brand, but you may want to send an e-mail to people who've already bought it from him (the last buyer to post feedback seemed to really like it) and see what they think: Seller's feedback page.

Damn, it looks sweet. Like something I'd like to have, clean and tasteful. It's probably pretty loud judging by the shape of it..
