i was in second gear going 40... the shift was from 2nd to 3rd..

thats about half a second faster than mine is now without tire,jack, and power launching. I deff got a race you. ill take some 40-90 tommaro ( uphill is the only place i can do it but oh well ) ill do spedo and in car view ( ihave no friends in TX )

yeah it is. Nitrous is very interesting. For 600 dollars ( good setup ) its worth it. Shiney, do you have a bottle opener and bottle warmer ?

uhh yea...but i'd much rather have a turbo. Cant you like get a boost retard system to switch the boost levels? Soo therefor, when you want more power, you can just up the boost?


BTW: how much boost would the 3.0 J30 engine be able to handle w/o upgrading all the internals?
How much spray could it handle? Is like a 75 shot pushing it?

I like the idea of spray, but i dont really know much about it. Like when you hit it, how long does the spray last for? Ive always been told like say you hit the spray and something happens nd you have to slow down, the spray will still be comming into the engine and your engine will blow. Like, when you hit the spray, does the "boost of power" last like 10 sec. or what? (How far of road do you have to have before you can hit the spray?)

well for a j30 series its going to be a custom job. 3000-4500 i would recommend a supercharger from comptech boosting the f22 is driving me nutz right now because i need to relocated my ac a little bit and figure out these dam ignition issues im having. My car is still na but i like to make sure i cover everything before it goes away for another week or two. It gets sent away tommaro for paint. I dont know how long it will take.

its not like fast and the furious its not set up into stages.. if the bottles open and your pressing the button then the solenoids are open (nitrous is fed into the motor)


the only problem you can have like the one you explained would be feeding the motor nitrous without punching it, in which the motor isnt pumping extra air/fuel/spark and will then lean out the motor and prolly 'blow'

I knew it would be. Soo like a Zex system where it only operates at WOT. Thats a good one to have. But see I always thought that when you hit the button, there was a "set stage" for how much spray you were adding.

Soo your telling me that its not that way at all? Soo like the length of time you hold down the button, thats how much spray will enter the engine?

I mean, is it really worth it to have? Do you even use it much? Seems like to me that I'd never use it unless I was jackin around on the HWY, cuz i never go to the track, and I think using it on the open street would be too dangerous. (plus the fact its illegal here to have spray)

no there are jets in teh line that dictate how much of a 'shot' you are running

well i use it most weekends cuz there are lots of people to race in teh city.. and obviously at the track
