Just had my Illinois Cook County emissions test, and it passed. What I don't understand is that my 98 Windstar and 91 Accord gets tested every two years, but my 97 CL will be due again next year. I wonder if the car passed by what they might consider a narrow margin and falls into special category. Maybe the OBD2 test showed something starting to fail bringing the test date closer. I know this is local and hard for anyone to answer, but you never know.

Thanks Rick, the more I thought about it, this is sort of a local issue as each community has slightly different standards. However, thanks and I will take a look at your recal notice.
