This is the math problem I see...

UR pulley = $180 + install

Ebay pulley = $25 + install + risk of engine damage

1 year later

UR pulley = $180 + install + enjoyment

Ebay pulley = $25 + install + XX% of risk of damaging engine + the probabilty of replacing/rebuilding engine

End result

UR pulley = $180 + install
Ebay pulley = $25 + install + xx% of spending $1,000 for rebuild/replacing

Total cost

Assuming install is $200
UR = roughly $380
Ebay = $225 or xx% of it being $1,225

This is all without knowing the quality of the item being sold. It's just a risk in my opinion. Not that another company couldn't mimic what UR does, but, it will cost them to do so properly, in which in the end would cost the consumer more money to buy it for their R&D.
