Dynapak here I come
If all goes well I will update this thread with a new dyno graph tomorrow after noon. I will also try to take and post a video as some of you have requested.
I will be taking the 2.3 turbo cl to a different shop than previously tuned it as it is running rich and the air fuel ratio never looked too smooth. Dynapak dynos are supposed to be better for tuning as well as they can hold a constant load.
I will also be having my downpipe modified to put the AC back in, if it is possible. The clearance will be very tight if i they can modify it to fit, but I am really sick of the black leather interior and no AC.
I am a little nervous because when I pulled my plugs yesterday they looked really bad. The car also seems to be sporadicaly missing at idle and sometimes makes a ticking sound when cold. The headgasket looks charred and my throwout bearing or something in the tranny is dieing. You may say why would I put it on the dyno with all these problems, but Im hoping a better tune will be better on the motor, and worst case, if it blows, i can get some CP pistons and Crower rods, although I would rather not be making payments on the car again.

Ok so for those of you who dont know or dont remember on the Dynojet dyno I made 212whp 228wtq. On the Dynapack I based lined at 169whp 172wtq at the same boost level (cheap autometer gauge says 10psi but turns out it was only 6-7 on their digital gauge) and finished at 207whp 206wtq at an actual 9.5psi, a gain fo 37whp and 33wtq.
They are going to custom make me an AC line during the week as well so that will be nice. The clutch and everything held really well on the dyno. I'll put the graph up after I get some lunch.
