Dumb Question:Alignment after lowering?

This is probably a dumb question, but I was planning on lowering my car with either neuspeed or eibach sportlines, which both lower less than 2 inches. Is it necessary or just smart to get an alignment after you installing the springs. Thanks

I heard that you dont need a camber kit until you go lower than 2 inches.
