Finally fixed my DRL's last saturday and it was a nice change from not having them. Put in some JDM yellow 9005's. tell me how it looks.

I also tried to get a picture of my amber turn signals but they were too hard to capture.

this is my favourite spot to take pictures. seen a cop in the same parking structure just when i was leaving and i thought they were gonna question me, but they didnt chase me. (lucky me)

i am in the process of finding suspension. ive been msging people on this forum but they always fall through when trying to buy shock/springs or coilovers. next mod is a drop for sure tho. not looking to drop it more then 1.8-2 inches cuz i go up/down hills bumps daily.

 

looking good, I recently put some 9005 hyper yellows in my low beams.. what a difference they make at night and in the rain...

 

yea the 9005/9006 conversion is a good cheap mod. if i knew about that trick before i bought my HIDs i would have just done that and save myself 250 bux...

is there a different bulb from your DRLs and the high beams?

 

DRLs run off 9005 bulbs. they come on automatically when u release the ebrake. when DRLs are running they only use half the power of the bulb and is not at its fullest power unless u use the high beam feature.

 

Nice man I like it a lot. The clear corners look great on a white CL. Keep up the good luck, hopefully I will join you on the drop!

Yeah i started with just the high beams but i didnt like it so i went all the way across, i want the 3000k 9006s but i like the yellow when my cars just sitting there andwith the black housing behind it.

 

My DRL module is messed up again. It wont turn on. Your car looks pretty awesome, the yellow is a good choice.

 

mine only works someitmes. i get the DRL light blinking on my instrument cluster. if i ever fix it i'll have to do something like this.

 

well if u would only get ur ass outta the house and kick it with us everynow and then (u do have our #'s! CALL US) u would see that i have yellow lows too!!! ive had them for quite a while actually!

yea, the top floor of G-square is sickk for shoots or meets. the only bad thing is that there are too many cops.

fixing the DRL module is easy if you have one. takes a long time to locate, remove, repair and replace only because it is in such a tight spot.

 

Is it just resoldering the connections or what?

It looks pretty trippy!... at first when u put them on it seem weird cause u mite think its tooo yellow. but u get used to it after about a week.
i havent got pulled over for it yet *knocks on fake wood grain*.... but i carry the stock bulbs in my car just in case i do
