drinking gas

Does anyone know why my 97 3.0 is slurping gas??? I just changed the plugs, put the car on the computer and it showed no faulty sensors but for some reason im getting horrendous gas mileage, like 10 miles to a gallon!!. If anyone could please help me out i would really appreciate it.

I'd say its leaking. Open the hood with the car idling and see if you smell gas. Look for dripping anywhere under the car.

I had a 80 buick that broke a hard fuel line. Went through a tank in 50 miles.

what mods do you have... as I increase performance, I have burned more gas, more quickly... I also drive hard and fast...

you also may be burning gas cleaner and quicker with new plugs, etc...

fill up your tank and watch your miles.... it may seem like its burning quicker by alot but might not be at all!

My 3.0 sucked gas like you read about just before the tranny went... then when the tranny got changed under warranty it was 10X better.

My cl is stock right now, dont see or smell any leaks so i dont know. I was thinking that maybe it was a tranny problem but it seems to be ok. I dont know im just really confused about this one.
