The edges of the door pop off, and there is 2 screws on the handle, one on the inner part, and one I believe on the top behind a little pop off cover..
Take the screws off.. unpop the door and lift..up..SLOWLY
Make sure to unhook everything.

Once I got the door panel off I could not get the door handle opener trim to attach back correctly. Anyone know a trick on how to get it to sit flush with the door panel. Now I have two 1/8" gaps around the trim part. This is driving me nuts.

I have the same problem with my door handle trim. I had to have my window motor fixed and when I got it back from the dealership there was a gap. I hate it too.

hey guys
the trick with the door panel is you have to put it on at a angle, if your looking at your door, the window it the plane line, put the panel on at a 30-40 degree angle from the plane line of the window, it should slip on, but the handle i tough, dont force at all or youll get what i did to mine
be careful when putting it on also, to the chrome trim piece along the edge of the panel cause if you force it too hard like i did once you can take this chrome trim off and it is a bitch to get on
when you get ot on around the handle extend the handle and slide the panel over the handle, it should slide fine if you did it right, but note there is only one way to take off and one way to put on.
hope this helps ya, if ya need more help im me on aol @ jgiguere17
