Looks awesome .
Makes me want to go slap in my h22 right now.
Hopefully it will be in next month.

By the way what year h22 did you use, did you stay obd2 or did you switch to obd1?

I bought an '99 h22a4 so I could just have everything be obd2 and wouldn't have to deal with switching.

dcl98turbo: great swap. Its clean.
Any problems with the swap? Who did it for u? How much was everything?JDM?? Hows the wiring? OBD2? And by the way how is your A/C?? does it work well with the H22's ECU with the climate control and all? Any check engine lights??

Sorry about the questions, i just want to know. Im really considering it pretty soon within six months if i save money and pay some debts. Im also thinking about the F20b accord SIR motor if its a good price. But again its pretty rare and might cost alot.

ok here is the deal.....my best 1/4 time is 14.8.. that is with using the cl tranny longer gears.....i kept that tranny because i am going turbo...

the turbo that i have is a T3/T04b...i will be running about 11 or 12psi.....i have an engine management system SDS..
rite now the internals are stock but i am in the process of building another block

my motor is a 95 obd1 it is better to mod the obd1 easier...
my ac and everything else works perfectly...
yea my engine light does come on but that has something to do with the car being obd2 and the motor being obd1...but still no problems..
i got the jdm h22 for about 2000 with h22 tranny (but i sold the tranny)....
to put it in i paid around 600....it was pretty much a straight swap apart from having to get an obd2 to obd1 converter

any more ?'s

thanx for all the coments..

ill try to post some more pics of my car

That's tight. Did you get the H22 locally or ordered from somewhere else. I may be FL pretty soon & need some recommendations on the shops. That's a good deal.

How long do you think the stock internals are going to last with 11 psi? Is the H22 block stronger than the f23?

PoPlaya, if you're going to sell your Cl why buy another one and then spend even more money to put a prelude engine in, when you can just buy a prelude and with the money you were going to use for the swap, get a turbo?

I like CL's better.....and my home boy already has a Prelude.....So I don't want the same car as him.....Unless I can find a 93 Prelude V-Tech with under 70K miles......I'd rather have a black 5 speed 2.2CL wita lude engine and some 18's and an eibach sportline drop......Maybe I'm weird, but that's what I wanted to do....lol..

I don't want a car like everyone else....I see Preludes that are souped up every day. I see civics and integras every day. I want a different CL.....For my next one I'm thinkin about a 97-98 2.2CL....probably black or silver, and DEFINATELY a 5 speed....And I'm gonna do all the same shit to that that I have in my car now, except for beats.....I'll get an engine instead lol.....I'm down to do the work.....I'll do it all next summer when I'm back from college....Me and my homey that has a NICE ass Prelude will do it ourselves....with some help from a local racing garage.....I'm not gonna just half ass the upgrades....I'm goin all out....lol....

How come the picture of the engine shows the car having chrome wheels and clears bumper lights and the photo of the car it has factory bumper lights and photoshopped wheels?

I mean how come your car looks like it's wheels are photoshopped? Reread the reply?

P.S I know someone that had a 98cl that swapped a cl-type-s engine in it with a level 10 trans. and turboed it (Can we say insane)!
