Does anyone here have ground control coilovers?

Any of you guys that have ground controls, would you mind sharing your thoughts on them? I have a set at home that I havent installed yet, but I am torn between getting some new shocks and installing the ground controls, or just selling the ground controls, and putting the money towards a set of teins.

I had them when they first came out and wasn't happy, i've heard they have improved. If you are going to do any sleeve coilover setup they are the one to do.

they are by far the best sleeve coilovers out there, but that's not saying much. However GC's are very popular on the SCCA circuit, so they are having success

well...the coilovers were how much? 250? good strut/shocks will be another 400 easy, right there thats 650...you can get the TEIN basic w/ non-adjustable shocks for about that...or if you want adjustable shocks it's a little more.
I lowered my car w/ coilovers on stock struts and it was the WORST decision i ever made, i would advise you NOT to do the same. Since it would make no sense to buy aftermarket shocks now, I am just saving up for the TEIN set-up. Good luck w/ whatever you choose.

Well all depends how much you want to spend...Im riding on skunk 2's currently with kyb agx's the ride is ok unless you hit a series of bumps. The ride of the G'C's are nice with either a koni yellow or kyb agx. (a couple of my friends have that setup)Personally i think the ride with springs is the best. If your stuck on coilovers I would get a set of teins they ride good. But still if you hit a series of bumps or potholes it gets bumpy. In whatever case get your car aligned when you get ur suspension on. Believe it or not it affects the ride quality i just got mine aligned and the ride improved by 70% then when it wasn't aligned.

Arent u exagerating a little? How much negative camber did you have? I dont see how it could make such a difference.

if you go a coilover go a full dampner system, like a tein or a apexi or a nex setup, i love the teins but im leaning over to the apexi setup

but try the teins they ride the best and give you the most out of your money and also if you have the money but the edfc for them too so you can be a totally custom ride setup

well it did improve enough to notice it. The ride got way better. But then again i had about 3*+ negative camber and my toe was way off.
