does 1st gen 3.0 come in MTX?

im planning to buy a 98' 3.0 in the near future, does it come in both MTX and ATX?

3.0's are strictly autos .. sorry gunna have to go with the 2.2 !!

how does the 2.2 drive like compared to the 3.0? not performance wise, but smoothness, noise lvl of the engine etc....

little less growl.....

more peformance parts,

lot more fun to drive

Basically, stock for stock...

3.0 has more performance
2.2/2.3 is more fun to drive

i love my 2.2 i love the 5spd mostly i could care less it it was a 2.2 or a 3.0 as long as its a 5spd.... plus the 2.2 has more aftermarket parts and cheaper parts at that ...

It really does depend on how you define "fun to drive". If that means you just have to have a stick, then the 2.2/2.3 is the only way to go.

I agree with dustbuster4--I have plenty of fun driving my automatic transmission 3.0. It gets up and goes when I step on it. If you want sports car performance, then a CL (in any configuration) isn't the right choice. It is a sporty luxury coupe, NOT a sports car!
