Do the needles on your cluster light up?

So last week I kept looking at my gauges and I felt like something was wrong. I kept wondering if the needles were suppose to light up. Today one of my friends and my girlfriend said something about it and i really don't know. Do your needles on the speedo, tach, and fuel gauge light up?

I'm in a 97 2.2

There are two small lights in the top of the gauge cluster, when they are out it is very hard to see the needles at night.

the needles dont actually light up. If you take the cluster put you'll see that are two small bulbs on top that provide light for the cluster, you gould change them to make them brighter if you want

I believe the bulb is a 1.4W #74, part # 78181-S84-A02, but best bet is pull out the cluster, pull the bulb out and head to autzone

Hated those things. Took mine out. Wish the needles glowed instead.
