Differnce between magnaflow 18" and 22" resonator?

Im just wondering if there if really any noticable differnce if I were to get a magnaflow muffler and then pair it up with an 18" or 22" My main concern is sound. Would it be quieter with the 22"? deeper sounding?

I think the bigger the resonator, the deeper the sound. Im gonna go with 22" only because my friends accord with 18" sounds like crap.

The longer the resonator the quieter the exaust.

Larger diameter pipes = DEEPER SOUND!

I have the 18" resonator, I ran without a resonator with 2.5" pipes and it was way too loud for my taste. You wont be disapointed with the 18" resonator.

bigger the resonator wont give you deeper exhaust sound. you will get deeper sound by which exhaust you have. bigger the resonator means your exhaust will quiet down more.
i have 22" reonator with same exhaust as above post with 2.5 inch piping. i was going to go with 18" but the cops in our areas are dicks. wtih 22" resonator, its still deep and loud.

Thats the 14815. I have that same set up aswell. I am running the 18" resonator and am very pleased with the sounds. Deep with a very nice exhaust note.

its the part that goes inbetween the cat and muffler, it does what its name is...it resonates the sound aka makes it quieter

klepto do you have a sound clip of your car with your setup? I was about to do the magnaflow 14827 with a 2.5" Piping for my 3.2 CL-P without the resonator. But now I'm worried that it's too loud.

Right click the link and save it cause it won't let you click it and play:

Magnaflow muffler: 14827 w/o resonator with 2.5" custom piping

PM me with your soundclip if you have any thanks. If you have aim my sn is XtoyotacrewX.
