I've been on a few of the prelude boards for a few months... not even close to the activity we get on a-cl but shit man don't any of those 4th gen prelude owners get shortshifters? I've been after a freaking shifter for 3 months and found nothing. ARG!!!

 

nobody makes an aftermarket one? Won't an accord work?

 

the prelude one shortens and lowers the height of the knob... just like the shifter... I thought there was only the adapter for our cars...

 

i don't know what their is for the accord, but I always thought the tranny parts were pretty universal for sure though.

 

yeah there is only the adaptor availible for us/accord.

 

dont get a short shifter....it becomes notchy, and messes with aligning your shifts, i kid you not, even in the '01 cobra from factory it is terribly notchy and annoying

also. the best board that was ever created was shut down

www.hondaprelude.com had the most registrants for a single model car and i cried myself to sleep for about 10- no days because of its loss

 

i'm not going to get a shortshifter... im going to get an OEM prelude shifter.
