well yesterday while driving to school i got into a fender bender w/ this old bmw luckey their car didnt take to much damage while my car got so scrap marks from there rubber bumper where we hit. I was wondering if that bumper scrap on my car can be buffed out or any thing else to get rid of it. Im lucky my ww lip didnt get damaged also.

well take a picture and ill tell you. working closely with the detail shop at honda for over 2years ive learned about alot of that stuff.

more than likely, some of it will buff out, but not all of it.

Depends if there's paint damage or not, just the plastic rubbing off would buff out, as long as the paint's still intact

I meant rubber, if there's just rubber rubbed off then you're fine. If it damaged your paint then you can't buff it off

well you could do it by hand with some sort of compound or you could use a buffer.

i usually do it by hand, it still works.

I would buff by hand first to see the extent of the damage, then go to town with the buffer assuming the paint isn't damaged, god I'm getting sick of saying that

Looks like the paint is scratched off, most of the red should buff off, the first pic looks like paint is scratched through to bumper

good thing is its white, try to find a white that matches yours. try on some cardboard, primer it and paint it. see if it matches. when the match is found, sand the scratches smooth, paint it with the paint. wet sand. buff, wax. all done.
