D4 Flashing!!!

D4 Flashing!!!
On my way into work this morning, the D4 indicator started flashing, and the 'check engine' light went on. First, any connection btw the two?... Second, are these major problems?

I REMBER READING SOME WHERE IN MY MANUAL ABOUT IT AND I THINK IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE TRANSMISSION BUT I'M NOT SURE

read ur manual i just read that like yesterday. u should get it fixed right away. there is a prob with the tranny i think it said. i wish i could tell u but i dropped my car off at the body shop this morning for a new hood. yess about fuckin time.
