custom/cleaning interior

ok guys well I've been dealin with this since i got my car, the previous owner didn't take car of this car at all. there are so many stains on my carpet. I was wondering if there is a shampoo or something out there that really cleans out the carpet and the seats. I have the light gray cloth interior and it's pretty dirty.
Even the plastics are all scrached up like he tried to install a cd player by taking off the plastic with a razor blade. Do you guys think I should sand it bondo it and smooth it and paint it? if so wuat color should i paint it.
If anyone has any pics of some truely custom interior I would love to see pics. I just looked at the CL that is all airbrushed and carbon fiber wrapped dash, door panels and stuff liek that. GAY!!! so what do u guys think?

IMO bondo is a little extreme. You could probably just hit it up with a coat or two of primer, then paint.

bondo will make it thick and then it won't fit properly...and for carpet shampoo, just go to ur local parts store and get some, spray it on and scrub it real good...

sorry but I don't really like your interior starboy, it looks like you didn't fit ur white vinyl that well on the door panel, and it looks a lil too ghetto for me. I like to go with a suttle color, maybe just paint the plastic part and cover the wood, but I dunno wut to wrap it in. Anyone got some idea's??

^ that shit is nice.

on another note,

i'd take the plastics out and go to the DIY section of the forum and look up plastic polish.

i havent seen a whole console done like this.

It'd be a lot of work to sand and whatnot, but it'd look a whole lot better.

As far as the carpet goes.... i'd get it proffessionally cleaned.

ever heard of Stanley Steamer? they do cars too

I'm actually interested in polishing my center console plastics, but would it work? It said in the DIY that you can't polish soft plastics, so what I'm wondering is if the center console/armrest plastics are hard or soft.

My console is scratched up and this would be PERFECT.

yea ayougo I like ur interior, but if I did have another car I could drive daily and let this one sit, I would prolly do that too. I read the thread about the polishing the plastic deal. It sounds alright, but I'm thinking of sanding all my scratches out of the plastic and then paint it either the gray, or black. Than I would prolly wrap the wood in a black vinyl.

If there's anything on the carpet on the ceiling, use armorall wipes, I swear by them.
