Talking To Cover, or not to Cover - that is the question

It's October12 in London Ontario Canada and it snowed , yes snowed. For those who say it's always snowing in Canada I can assure you that we are parallel to northern CA in London and we don't get snow around Christmas . With snow comes covered cars and eventually ice in February.

My question to fellow Acuraites is do you cover your car in bad weather and if so what do you use ? I am in an open parking lot and have no access to covered parking. How do I keep my mostly pristine Primrose paint shiney and bright?

I cover her in the garage

I have a pimp 4 layer car cover I got off of another member on here. You can get one on ebay i'm sure. I love car covers, I am debating covering my 4runner this winter cuz I park it outside. I had to keep my trans am outside both winters i had her and covered her both winters, made a big difference, no scratching of paint when you scrape snow and ice off. If you get one, make sure it's breathable

I have a primrose CL and live in Ottawa, where it snows even more and i dont really have any paint damage from snow....most winter damage comes from salt and that will be to your underbody. So get your car rustproofed at Krown or a similar place, wash and wax and do quality car wishes reguraly in the winter to remove the salt. You should be good for a while.

Used to live in Canada..... I used to be an Eskimo, then the 120 degree summers thawed me out.

Igloos? Eskimos? Stop being naughty, herbalist. You're just promoting steriotypes of Canadians. You know darn well that the North Pole is really located in Buffalo NY.

Speaking of Buffalo, it turns out that a lot of people were driving on close to fumes because no one expected power outages that shut the gas stations. Start topping up those tanks, folks, just in case this damned early snowfall is a sign of a damned early winter .

I'd just go buy a car cover from ebay...but as previously stated, it's the salt that's the enemy, not the snow
