a couple of questions

I just bought a 97 3.0 in awesome shape, only 45k miles on it. I was going to start modifying it, and I've already had a audio shop put 5% on all the windows and I put a weapon-r in a custom woodbox. first thing I guess I wanted to know is do they make a CAI for this vehicle? I was looking around and I read that the engine (I think its called the j30) is the same as the one in the 98 V6 accord. Can they use the same aftermarket parts, like the CAI? I didn't know if the engine compartment in the acura had enough room.
Second question would be what's the best way to secure the box to the inside of the trunk? Should I try using some bolts or maybe some velcro tape so I can take it out if I need to? I'm sure you all have more experience with this stuff than I do - figured it'd be smart to make sure the improvements would work before I waste a couple of hundred dollars on it. thanks.

AEM CAI is the most commonly used CAI for our vehicle, and anything fomr a 94-97 accord will fit on our cars...

Ok, motor components, yes you can use 98 accord, such as the CAI. Most people will recommend the AEM V2. Congrats on the find, sounds like a nice car, hopefully in real good condition. Secondly, the box, there's a lot of ways to secure it, but I personally wouldn't recommend using bolts, unless you're worried about theft. But I use velcro on the bottom of my box, and it doesn't go anywhere.

Suspensionwise, you want to look at 94-97. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Yeah, but the motor is a 98 accord motor, the suspension and gauges are 94-97. Happy modding
