Complete Black Out Lights

well, i finaly realized i need to refinish the plastic on my lights, so on monday im going to completely refinish the inside and outside, apply new sealent once i scrape the old shit out etc.... NOW

I was smokin a boge outside when i thought to myself,....."i wonder what it would look like if i painted all the chrome..gloss black" so, on monday, im going to completely black the headlights out. Ill keep the center chrome bulb cover chrome though. I wonder if it will look good or not. I guess we'll find out.

i think the back part is chrome so it reflects the light of our headlights.. and if you paint it black wont it affect the beams of the headlights?

Sounds like a good idea, unless your car isn't just for show.

instead of leaving the chrome bulb cover, cut it out so the light goes straight out of the headlight

dave is the man.....and yeah, i guess ill cut the chrome piece out. I plan on doing a projector retro fit anyways, but i realy want to see what these headlights will look like. As far as the fogs, go..... i got a guy molding an insert to replace the corner light so that more air reaches the cai without making the car look gay.

fucking acura, they have that chrome bulb screwed down with a hex style screw with a center hole... ( RARE bit ) i got it out though, and ill post pics in the morning. SHIT LOOKS INCREDIBLY MEAN....... THE CAR looks like a fucking devil or some shit...some other shit....some nightrider shit or something. Light visibility is not as good, but the gloss black Helps big time reflecting it. Projectors ill get eventualy....i just hope i dont have to take apart the lights again....the sealant is tricky to remove and i hate dealing with those harsh chemicals

What if you did a high gloss, that might reflect more. Looks sweet though. How functional is it at night? Can you even see?

I actually really like it..I wonder if you could get pulled over for it? Well maybe not since they sell those tinted light covers.

Yeah i saw the night pic, but what does it look like through the windshield. Like while your driving down a dark road at night. Can you see anything at all? How much did your light projection change?
