So today while reaching into my car through the window and trying to open my trunk with the latch, an alarm went off. I didnt realize my car came with an alarm. When I bought the car, the car didnt come with a remote. So I was faced with unplugging the battery. I tried to look for an aftermarket alarm, but I couldnt locate one. I did however locate the siren under the fender. Im guessing the car, or acura cl's came with a factory alarm? Anyway is there a way to get a remote from the dealer? or is there a way to disarm the factory alarm? Right now the car wont start becasue of the alarm. I'd like to keep the stock alarm in the future.

just put your key in the door and re-arm it. unlock with key to disable the alarm. buy the remote off ebay, it comes with reprogramming instructions.
