Just got back from the track. It was my first time at the track...kept running 15.2/15.3 because i couldn't figure out my launch. after like 5 tries I figured it out and was running 14.7s/14.8s. We did bracket racing after that and i came to the final round but lost...I still won a hundred bucks and a trophy for runner up.
I raced with my stock wheels/tires, empty trunk, half a tank of gas, with a 90 shot of nitrous.

should of been low 14s but my bottle pressure was to low...it was cool that night and i don't have a bottle warmer.

this track is actually in Iowa about 3 1/2 hours from the twin cities...Minnesota is very humid.

A 125 shot and a good launch will get you mid to low 13's. A 75 shot gets you low 14's, and a 100 shot gets you high 13's. Enjoy the nitrous

i might be wrong but wasnt some guy talking shit about the 3.0's saying they're slow and cant run 15's? With the proper tuning, and a lil' juice we can compete with almost anything. I hate seeing guys on a cl forum talking shit... just leave and keep yer damn mouth shut. NICE RUN BRO!!!

I'm sorry guys, spray is ghey... It's a blood-doping cheat for your car, and if not done correctly can do more harm than good. Just my two pennies worth. All-motor is the way to go with the 3.0. Maybe a supercharger if it was done with the right internals. Cocoa and that 3.5 CRL is my hero.

thats what i was thinking, i know that i rag on our cars sometimes, but i know what they can do, i remember fastvteccl.

anyways my advice to stick to cosmetic mods is what i feel is best for most people that ask the questions that i answer, people that aer going to go get these times (congrats btw) dont need/ask for advice for first mods..

stock wheels at 22 psi is the reason... more rubber touching the ground will give you better traction out of the hole but give you a lower trap speed..

thats why his 60 ft time is so much lower than mine
