the noise I mentioned before-

Finally found out the problem. Its the transmission. Some bearings in it were worn. Also the throwout bearing of the clutch is broken too. Gonna cost me a futuane! Any one know if this is normal for a standard transmission with 87K miles on it? It's kind of too early to go bad.
Also, is it an OK deal to replace couple bearings in the transmission and the clutch for $1400?

for that price you could get a whole new rebuilt transmission, my car has 87K and it is sitting at the trans shop while they decide if it's bad enough for a rebuild yet.
