CL Fog Lights
hey im new to this forum, but ive had my 97 3.0CL for about 3 years now. anyhow, anyone know of any projector type fog lights that will fit in the lower grill? since its got that middle bar, i cant find any that will fit.
however, the only kind that i can find that fit are the cheap square walmart brand with the ultra rice looking "ion blue lens."
. id sooner put some led wiper squirters on my car then a pair of those.

hey man, welcome to the boards.
well, i have some projector fogs that have a 3" lense.. i got it to right by cutting out the plastic stuff in the middle. either that or you can get some flat ones and try to make them fit. most aftermarket fogs use double sided tape so it's all good.
i'd recmmend getting some yellow halogens and putting them in the fogs, looks nice

im in ATL, and while the CL scene isnt huge around here, ive seen a fair share on the roads. however, i had never seen one with stock fog lights before, so i almost thought they didnt exist.
ive almost given up on finding projectors that are small enough to fit without cutting, but does anyone know of any foglights that are flat enough to fit in front of that middle bar, without the light sticking way out?

oh and btw, right after i got clear corners, i fitted a pair of H4 headlight bulbs into where the turn signal bulb usually goes, hoping i could use them as foglights and then re-wire the four driving lights as turn signals. for anyone else whos gotten this idea, lemme tell you, DONT do it. the light just completely scatters everywhere and only about 10% of it shines on the road and is usable. also, because of the ripples in the lens of the clear corners, the light comes out in weird horizontal waves and theres absolutely no way to aim it.
