CL 3.0 stalls while driving. Can't figure out problem.
Hi, I have a 99 CL 3.0 151k miles that keeps stalling. It stalls when I start it up, stalls when I stop at a light, it stalls when I'm driving down the street or on the expressway going 70.
when I'm driving it just cuts out, speedometer and rpm go to zero, but lights still on. I usually flip it in neutral and restart it, rev the engine, and it's fine for 20 minutes or so. The problem is getting worse, stalling more frequently, having to rev it longer before it stays on.
I took it to my mechanic and he said he didn't know what was wrong, since the check engine light didn't come on.
Does anyone have any ideas?
