moforose3.0,

You mean the ones that look like the Lexus GS300/400 dash. My advice would be to cancel that order, I tried to see if they would fit the CL, but too big of a difference. (You can give it a shot) Otherwise you would've seen them on my car a long time ago

So, I've settled for these when they came up on ebay recently.

ilike2cheez,

The amount of work is the same as though you would add indiglos. Bottom line-you gotta take out the whole dash assembly. (Instructions do so can be found by searching this forum). I think they would still look good without indiglos. To get an idea, take a look at an current generation BMW (E46) 330i or 330ci, as they have chrome rings around a black dash face.

Search using the following:

97 accord chrome gauge

Good luck! I'm sure you'll be bidding against other people who saw this post.

Thanks for the comments guys, it was somebody else on this board that first discovered them, think it was matchjames. I don't know if he got around to putting them in.

Ok, I'll try to answer everybody's questions:

99CL-the rings are lined with a black gooey adhesive, so you just push-fit them onto the black plastic dash.

dustbuster4-I haven't seen them in gold, although I haven't tried searching for it in gold.

cldriver,
Is this what your talking about? I was planning on getting the carbonfiber, not these ugly ricey ass colors. It better fit, my girlfriend just ordered it for my birthday. By the way my 21st birthday is on the 6th and I accept gifts.

moforose3.0 - Yes, those are the ones I was talking about. Would've looked nice if I found a way to mount them.

If there is enough of you guys that wanna get this, why don't someone contact the seller and see if he is willing to do a group buy. He has more than just that one set, he just auctions them off one at a time!

A group buy on the rings would be great. Im sure alot of ppl would get them Not to expensive now and if he could go lower if he sold 10-15 sets that would be great

OH it looks like they cover part of the guages (like no red line) do they?

Did it fit in there alright and there was just nothing to mount it too? Do you think its possible to mount it in there if I get some connecters? Sorry about all of the questions, but this is gonna piss me off if this come in and I cant use it, thanks man.

moforose3.0-Basically, there was nothing I could mount it too. Not saying its impossible, if you really want it in there bad enough, you'll find a way! And you'll be the first!

matchjames-Lets get to it! Lets see how they look on stock gauges!

For those of you interested in the aluminum accessories, that same dealer has these that look like an exact fit.

I think you forgot something matchjames.

Mofo- that "euro dash" should fit as long as you got the one for an accord. Its the same cluster as an accord. I think they are held in place by the origional plastic lens.

The chrome rings look nice, but i see they are covering some of the tachometer on the right side... I'm Italian, everything has to be perfect for me.

Looks great Mine should be here this week. Do they mount on that bevel inside the guage or do the just sit around the top outside of the guage?

I think you're idleing kinda high

It looks great. After seeing the pic of the one with the white guages and the chrome rings in the car with the tan interior I planned on getting the white face guages too. But now that I see yours, I think I'll stay with the factory guages - I have a grey interior like yours and that looks perfect.......
