Check Engine CODES!!!!!
coming home from a drive the other day and my check engine light came on. well it has done this before and it was an insufficient flow in the egr valve. so i thought nothing of it. 5 min later the check engine light starts to flash at me. i gave it some more gas and it stayed on steady. made it to autozone and pulled codes on it and it came up p1300, p0302, and p0304. the last 2 said cylinder 2 & 4 miss fire. the p1300 said something weir and i didnt understand it. all i know is it deals with the ignition system. could any body help me out on this one. thanks

the egr vavle is located right behind the vtec selonoid. i took it off and cleaned the carbon build up and then i took a small pipe cleaner and the top part of it.. i am not sure on the new ones. should still have some type of warrenty on it

I know these threads are old, but in case someone at least reads over this in the future:
If cleaning the injectors does not help, clean the ports to your EGR valve. Also, there is an access plate on the intake manifold. I was getting the codes P0303, P0304 and P1300. After removing the access panel on the intake manifold, I discovered 3 out of 4 intake ports to engine were clogged with carbon. Using carb cleaner, screw drivers and chisels, the carbon build-up was removed. The car runs GREAT now. After physically removing carbon build-up, I would suggest running Chevron Techron through the system to finish cleaning up.
Hope this helps anyone who reads this since none of the other posts helped me.
