I got a 98 2.3 cl and I think it maybe beneficial to change the gear oil, the car has 77k miles, works fine, I'm doing a oil change later and wanted to do this too. I was hoping someone will have a procedure for this and could pass it on, thanxx

You really shouldn't have to yet. I think that's only done on high mileage cars.

Anyway, I've never done it but I do know that it drains out from a smaller drain plug and you have to replace the oil from the same location you drain it from. Also, gear oil is extremly thick so its a bitch to work with.
