changing cd player

i have bose cd-player that came with my car.

my friend will give me Alpine cd-player and i want to know what do i need to replace the cd-player.

i need to know step by step how to put and what do i need.

& can i still use the volume buttom that on the wheel?

where can i get wire harness for cheap?
any honda 86 and up will fit?
&
do i need to get installation kit?

any tip?

go to autozone just picked one up for 10 bucks. or even wall mart. if u got to circuit city or best buy it will cost u about 19 dollars.

no the steering wheel buttons will not work, however you can get an adapter that makes them work for like 70$. not really worth it to me though.

how can i connect head unit and subwoofer.

it don't have wire or inlet to connect it.
&
what is Remote Turn-on Lead(bllue/white)?
do i need to connect this?

you connect subs with RCA's that lead from the back of the head unit to the amp..

the remote turn on lead is ran to the amp also...not connected to anything if you dont have an amp.

do you have an amp?!?!??!? lol

yes, i have amp but it only for subwoofer.
so i can connect RCA and all the wires at same time or need to choose one.
because i look up on amp connections, it say RCA input OR speaker level input.

where of amp i connect the temote turn on lead to?

i have no idea about sound systme but i want to hook it up by my self.

its actually more than $30 if you have a bose system with the stock bose amp...
