Same thing happened to me, but I don't know exactly when. It's not something I often pay attention to, since I know the gears by feel. All I know is that one night I was looking at the shifter and thought......"it's awful freakin' dark over there."

i used to just hit mine... now it doesnt ever come on porlly just a loose conector from all the smacking

why not just change the bulb? perhaps it went or you broke the filiment finally... just remove the center and dig in there for the bulb?

I know.....I'm kickin' myself because I had the center console area apart just the other day while I was putting in my new JVC head unit, and I totally forgot to check for the shifter light bulb while I was in there! :wtf:
