Catz Zeta headlight kit... anyone?

Does it fit our CL?
Has anyone tried the Catz Zeta Kit?

I had PIAA Super White bulb... but it sucks in the rain..
HID costs too much... will this catz zeta kit helps?
Any comments?

Thanks

For some reason I thought the topic said 'Catherine Zeta's headlights.' I was expecting to see a picture of her and her rack on the front of a CL. :P

Well the thing is that the HID's aren't all that great in rain or fog, the HID look, ie: PIAA's, and I believe the CATZ lights are just about the same. It's because it reflects too much...

I guess my question is... won't the Zeta kit makes lot of different?
It does said it will make the bulb 170% brighter.

Well, the zeta kit will make your headlights super bright like hid's, but it will also add more reflection if I am correct. I was thinking about getting the catz, but I didn't want to create even more of a bad effect during the foggy weather and rain....even though so cal doesnt really see much of that.

The blueness of HID's & wannabe HID's is what makes them suck in inclement weather because of blue light's tendency to bounce off of water droplets. The Zeta system only increases brightness, not blueness. You can tell the difference (especially since they don't kick in until a second after you turn on the lights so you can see the before & after results).

i seen one place selling some stupid wire harness for idiots to wire ur headlights directly to the alternator to make them brighter. u can do it without that if u dont mind doing some work, but anyone heard of this. i mean its a 12v bulb. is it bad to put up 14.9 volts to them. i would think it would kill them faster. i dont know.

Yeah i've seen them before. You can make one yourself but i think i would just buy one. It is supposed to make your lights a lot brighter by running right off your battery. It also makes it safer to use higher wattage bulbs.

I'm using PIAA Super Plasma White. Is that ok? or should I buy a pair of 85 watts one instead for the Zeta?

Thanks
