Catalytic Converter / Cigarette Lighter Help!

Hey, anyone know where I can buy a new catalytic converter for my 97 3.0 CL? My check engine light came on, and was a result of the catalytic. The dealer wants $700 for it, which is a little crazy.

Also does anyone have the cigarette lighter? I need the actual unit that heats up the plug that you see on the outside.

PM Me if you have any info. Thanks a lot

How many miles are on your car? Our cats are made to last a long, long time, so if yours went out, you've got a problem. If you get a new cat without fixing this problem, it will go out again. It can be as easy as a fouled spark plug. If you get an aftermarket cat it won't be as good as OEM and will only last a few years. That's okay if you don't plan on keeping the car for very long, but if you do, then get an OEM one. Don't know where you can get a cheap one though.

The car has 121,000 miles, and yea I was thinking of getting an OEM one just so it would last a few more years than an aftermarket one.
