car seems weak when my A/c is on

Ok so when I drive me car with the windows down, or no AC on everything feels normal. As soon as I turn my AC on my engine feels unresponsive and slow. The air is still nice and cold, but I dont know what the deal is..

Any suggestions.

that's pretty normal with most, if not all cars. some cars (mostly lower powered engines) feel it more

It takes some effort for the engine to turn the a/c pump.

well your AC takes about 3hp from you. mine has been doing that for awhile now. it actually lowers its revs almost dying when at a stoplight.

it might be you have a Bad IACV.....Try cleaning the throttle body and map sensor with a carb cleaner.
