My main fan and a/c fan does not turn on when I am idling and the temp would slowly go up but goes down as soon I start driving again from the air. What's weird is that my engine fan will turn on after I turn my car off the fan will kick on but it doesn't kick on when my car's idling. What should I check on the car and replace, I don't want to bring it to a mechanic to check on since the labour per hour is costly. How hard will this be to fix?

 

its most likely your fan switch relays. there is one located on the thermostat housing and the upper coolant hose housing. although when i had that problem my fan wasnt turning on at all.

 

Do I have to take anything apart for the fan switch relay? Anyone got any links on how to remove this? I don't have a manual atm.

 

you unplug the connectors and theres a nut at the end of the relay. i forgot what size it is. i could check later.
