camshafts for a 2.2l???

okay so ive almost everywhere i could think of for a cam for the sohc 2.2. i know they make cam gears and stuff but does anyone know if they make cams for the engine cuz thats what im thinkin i want next that and a cam gear. so if anyone knows anything about this or a cam for a diff car thatll fit PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

my guess would be cams from a 94-97 accord would work, same motor, cant hold me to that, im not a huge accord/cl fan

It's just one cam and I don't think there is any aftermarket ones. Maybe I'm wrong though. You can always do a regrind, but I wouldn't do it.

they have different types of cams depending what you want to do engine setup is like, or how you want it to be. im sure they make aftermarket cams for the f series motors.

hmm i bet the 20 hp came from that V6, i wonder what kind of hp you could see with the heads and cams.. and for that much money you could prolly buy a h22

Yeah that head package is way too much, save up a bit more and you can drop the H22 in there.

you can get cam regrinds...currently kteller.com is working with a company to make different sets of cams (depending on application) for the f22 right now...but currently he can do nice regrinds for you as long as you know what you want out of your motor..www.kteller.com and just email him..he's a good guy and alot of backround

also you can run a search on www.accordinglydone.com i believe he has some graphs posted somewhere

different lobe characteristics..only vtec lobe will be effected if you wanna keep a good idle..same as using an aftermarket cam
