im cool, im cool...lol...i was just thinkin...what if...

The main reason is just that my hoods all busted up, its been like that for over a year now and Im just really getting sick of looking at it. (you woudnt believe how much it changes the look of the car, and makes it look like crap.

I know we will get the hoods, im not afarid about Carlo. I trust him. I just wish we'd get an exact date that VIS would prove they could make the deadline. I guess its just the fact that it keeps gettin pushed back, my hood looks like shit, i just wish we had a date finalised once again....

but for now...i keep on waitin! (besides, i still have to order the hood pins..)

I know i'm 3 hours ahead of you guys in cali, but it's 5 here, and still no word from carlo about the hood. My guess is that it didn't come in yet, or the container is still in customs. It'd be really nice to get an update on this. My only other fear is, if the "test hood" doesn't fit, would that mean we have to wait another month or 2 for them to be redone? Hopefully that would never happen since they have a stock hood that they made the mold from. But anyhow, I'm hoping that the test hood comes in soon. I really wanna at least get the rest shipped out soon.

So the container is here...If the hood isnt in the container, then I dont know what were going to do. VIS keeps claiming its comming, and it seems to be delayed over and over again. Hopefully its in the container, and the test fit and picts will be posted tomorrow. If its not in the container, I might be making a few calls to find a EXACT deadline for us...

Okay, just got off the phone with VIS. They're air shipping the hood, it will be here by friday. It wasn't on the container. &^%^*$%^$%#$%#$^%.

First off, they said that we would have *all our own hoods* by the end up Sept.
Second, they said the test fit hood would be here last week.
Now their telling us it didnt come on the container (WHY??? what is their anwser?? Why wasnt it in the container like they said it would be?)
And NOW, their saying it should be here Friday via Air???

I donno about you all, but with all the they've told us before about deadlines and how "they cant seem to make them", I have a lot less respect for VIS. Plus the fact that im calling for the hood to be here Friday. And even if it does arive, add on customs, plus time to fit it and take picts...

lets just face it, hopefully we will see picts by the 3rd of Oct....shit, and then add on the time it will take to ship the rest over, which will probably just be like the "test fit hood" where they say its comming and it isnt...

I really woudnt be suprised if we all dont get our hoods until mid-late Oct. now...

Carlo, we know this isn't your fault, but it's getting really frustrating. We were promised deadlines, as were you, and our money is floating around in VIS's account, but we have no product. It's just getting more and more frustrating waiting for our product that we were guaranteed would be here by now. DId they give you any inclination about when and how the actual hoods would be shipped after that?

waiting for these hoods to come out is taking so long that in the meantime, i painted a carbon fiber design on my hood using an air brush.

Exactly, Carlo, please know were not mad at you. Your the "middle man" and theres nothing that you can do. Im just really getting upset with VIS. They told us 9 weeks, missed the deadline, then they keep tellin us the hood is comming and "it will be here next week" when everytime they say that, its atleast 1+ more weeks and the hood is delayed again. I'd like to know what the hell they are doing over there, why they keep missing deadlines, and why the hell that hood didnt make it on the container like they said it would. (even after they missed last weeks container!) I just dont understand their business....you think a big company suck as VIS would have their shit together, but it seems to me that its just a bunch of yahoos over there just doing whatever. I donno what the problem is over @ VIS but they need to fix it and NOT treat customers and vendors (yes u Carlo) like the way they've been treating us.

I mean, what is their excuse for missing deadline after deadline?? If that hood dosnt show up Friday, I am definitly making some phone calls....

You know, I hate to say it, and I know its bad to think/wish, but after all this delayed deadline they've given us, Carlo, I really hope you have enough evidence on their "breach of contract" to go after them, so they get what they deserve.

:whocares: Theres nothing wierd about it. All it is, is a company whos screwing us over time after time and if they dont redeem themselves tomorrow by having the hood here, im not going to sit around and let them call the shots like they have for the past 3 weeks. They've had enough time to get shit straight. If its not here friday, im not sitting around anymore listening to their delays. No offense man, but you aren't the contract holder, carlo is, and he knows the owner or whoever. You calling their corporate complaint line won't do squat, cuz you are not the contract holder, nor do you have any weight to hold with them.

I consider them having my $460 and me not seeing any production/product for ~ 3 months, that to me is considered a little weight...Anyway...Its Noon central time, 10am Cali time. Hopefully we will hear something soon.
