hrm, do you know if the 3rd picture is of the front of the hood? how is one supposed to put on the grille... also this might be a stupid question but will our hood dampers apply too much pressure to the hood and crack it? yeah i know, stupid lol

if u see the 3rd pix, it looks like fiberglass... and i'm pretty sure it will crack easily..

i think it will crack during shipping..lol

and.. i think it's the one that was for sale like 2yrs ago... like the one that caper has.. (he said that we should not get it cuz it doesn't fit quite well, and poor quilities..)

damn, like said already If were gonna get a CF hood I would get it customed for me. Make sure it has holes for wiper nozzles, maybe get a very subtle hood scoop to make room for turbo if necesary, and some gills to purge the nitrous out of.

shhittt... I need a new hood sooo bad. (mines still busted up and Acura still wants $1300 for a new painted/installed one) I wish I could get a CF hood to make it look better and to save $$ but this one does look like shit...

I NEED A NEW HOOD BAAADDD....crap...

What does it cost to get your own CF hood custom made?? And who would you get to build it for you?

We should get together and make a group order if the price is right.

Well, Depending on Price, Quality, and if I havn't gotten a new one yet...A CF hood would save me more $$ than a new one. + i'd look better.

If we could get a really good quality one made with the washer nozzle holes and with capability (sp?) of using the OEM hood latch...I'd probably be down.

Soo...count me as a maybe...(the sad thing to say is most GB's fall through...)

good quility, shipping, etc.. you will need around $1000~1500 for the c/f hood for your car.. (just one)

And, u guys will need AT LEAST $500 for the product (if gb is made), and $150 ish for the shipping.. ( or pick-up would be much better..

the reason why all the gb failed was because they didn't have enough $$ at same time the gb was going..

even tho u make a gb for this, i'm sure it will fail again

yup, remember that one dude a while ago that got that "group buy" going for the CF front lip? we had like 20+ people say that they were in and he said that they were beginning production on them already and to have everyone PM them their phone #. It sucks, but its the truth, a GB almost never works

Im just desperate...I need a new hood bad, and i really dont want to spend the ~$1300 on a new OEM one from Acura. (If i cound find one in a local junkyard, thatd be the best thing...but I cant freakin find one.)

A CF hood would save me money...but i'd only buy one if it was of really good quality with pre made washer nozzle holes and compatible for the hoodlatch..

I'm down until the end, I won't back out. $700 shipped sounds okay if the quality is good.

SoCal here also.

The front of the hood doesnt look right...Most of the time w/ after market hoods you have to buy pins to keep them down and you do lose your window washing abilities..
