bypassing factory amp (clear this up for me please)
so i'm finally tired of flipping between cd's. anyway. let me get this straight. i take the harness in the trunk that runs to the amp, and i just connect the in wire to the out wire on the harness back there? first, is this correct:
Black: RR- input from HU
Blue: RR+ input
Green: LR- input
Red: LR+ input
Brown/White: RR- output to speaker
Red/Yellow: RR+ output
Grey/White: LR- output
Blue/Yellow: LR+ output
Front speakers:
Brown: RF- input from HU
Yellow: RF+ input
Orange: LF- input
White: LF+ input
Brown/Black: RF- output to door speaker only
Red/Green: RF+ output
Grey/Black: LF- output
Blue/Green: LF+ output
so i'd get in there, and, say, first wire, would be connecting black to brown/white (RR-)? is that right?
this all sounds fine, i have no problem hacking up wires (you should see my 240), but i'm just making sure i have this absolutely right. i'm skipping work today, meeting a friend for lunch, and then picking up my new head unit to install, let me know if i've got this right, thanks!

well, turned out by hooking accessory power to the blue wire coming off the harness adapter, it triggers the amp. which is good because i wasn't planning on putting in a new amp and speakers yet. sounds exactly like it did but with a different head unit.... and i didn't spend any time in the trunk with a soldering iron. woot.
