Lexus SC400 ?

Considering buying a 1995 Lexus SC400 V8 with 100 000 miles at a price of $9000 needs work.
Rusted gas filler cap inlet.
Is it worth it?
Gets good reviews drives like a dream.
Any problems?

NO!

9+ year old car, 100,000+ miles, rust where its hard as shit to get rust, and a body style old too.

Dont care if its a Lexus coupe or not

TOO MUCH. maybe 7000-7500 as long as a diagnostic comes back clean, and those you have to take with a grain of salt b/c youre hoping the computer system in the car is working well enough to trust

You can get a better SC for that price.

My friend bought a '94 SC300 with 78,000 for $7,500 with upgrades.

Do your homework on the SC, you may not like them as much as you though. Visit www.clublexus.com

I found out it was repaired
Hood does not line up
rusted repair on windshield moulding / roof badly done
Drivers door does not open correctly
Chips on paint over some parts of roof and door moulding

Don't get it. Unless you have a major hook up with buddies that can repair cars, you will get raped in repair costs. I brought a 92 SC with similar miles, I replace it quickly with a CL.
