Transmission Problems

This sucks....I havent even had my car for 5k miles and my transmission is already giving me problems....i took it in to the shop....they are telling me that the problem is inside the transmission...DOnt really know what the problem is but its gonna cost me an arm and a leg...I will post as i find out what the problem was.............My car only has 95K....

Did you research the car before you got it? Like on here? That's the biggest problem / flaw with our car, and we make it well known on here

Yea i knew that when i purchase the car....I always knew that the main problems on these cars are the transmissions..but i was hoping i would get one that would run for a while before it died on me...but they are doing the work so by tomorrow i should know what the problem is....

Does your motor sounds like its knocking when you start it?........ most likely you prolly have metal shavings like i do in mine.

Brand New Transmission

How Much Would A New Transmission Cost...if Anybody Has Any Information About This I Would Appreciate It..if Anybody How Much It Would Cost With Labor And All In The Orlando Area....

There are lots of stories of people since we've all had our trannies rebuilt, you may wanna search tranny or rebuild.

dont the h22/f22/f23 transmissions bolt up the 2.3?

You just get a better tranny it wouldnt be "BRAND NEW"...... but im still waiting on mine it be in by this saturday hopefully.

Once you get the tranny replaced there isnt too much you have to worry about falling apart. So as a plus you wont have to worry about your tranny for a while once you replace it.

when you bought the car it didn't come with any warrenty at all?

i remember when i bought mine i got a 1 year warrenty on it

well he told me it would be between 2000 and 2500...im paying a little more cause im getting the water pump and belts changed since i have it in the shop...so im gonna be paying like around 3000 35000...

i had my transmission rebuilt on my 2.3 auto right when i got it with 68k. ive put 40k miles on it since then and the tranny is still sweet.

Finally im back.....i just got my car back......i had the transmission rebuilt...i also changed all the belts and they replaced an engine bolt so my car is fresher than ever....Today im gonna be adding the infinity 6x9 and 6.5s that i never installed.....so pics should be coming soon.......im also looking for anybody around the south orlando area to meet up....
