Are OBX universal mufflers any good?

Are the Aerospeed Bomb mufflers any good?
What do they sound like?

I don't have the $$ to spend for a Greddy or Apexi muffler and full piping...
so I'm looking for more of a looks and sound thing until i can get the real thing in the future.

in my experience, most "straight through" muffler sound the same. and performance wise, they are straight through, so they dont differ much. the only thing that differs is the sound created by different baffles.

the best way to save money before the muffler is to buy your own pipe and have a shop mandrel bend it. shouldnt cost more than 1 or 2 bills.

 

What do you mean by "before the muffler". You don't mean to get the pipe before getting the muffler do you? Or are you just saying that when I buy the muffler to get custom piping?

So you think they all sound the same? If it's the baffles changing the sound then how will I know if the muffler has good baffles?

I'm trying to find a good deep sound of course. I just don't want it to sound like i have a hole in my muffler... all buzzy.

I hear magnaflows have good sound.

 

i've heard great things about the deepness of the magnaflows for imports

my apex'i n1 muffler is pretty deep, but it's also kind of obnoxious
