bosch icon wipers
has anyone installed bosch icon wipers yet? They are the style of wiper that is comming on all the new cars this year. I hear they are VERY good. They are a little expensive, however i dont mind that for good wipers. (plus they look cool)
any reviews or pictures of them installed would b awesome!

they are excelent for winter conditions... my father put them on his super duty and said they're the best wipers he's ever used. He hates when snow and ice builds up in the frames of normal wipers, which keeps them from performing properly. They have an internal spring that holds them to the glass, as well as a "spoiler" that also helps hold them down at higher speeds.
Well worth the money if you ask me.
BTW- Mercedees has used the same style wipers for years.

Yes I have them on my car. Go look in the picture section for "hybridnrg's exhaust and pics" you will see them. So easy to put on, they take care of ice and snow like its nothing. Plus they are aerodynamic so no shaking at high speeds. The most important thing i noticed is that there was NO or to the very less minimal sound, when you had it on. Plus they look really clean on the car....no big metal thing to deal with. Plus they said it last 20% longer then regular blades

Reflex Wiper Blades
I got some new wipers up here in Toronto from Canadian Tire.
They are a single blade design, and are manufactured with a curve to better fit the contour of the windshield.
They're a bit pricier but worth it, and I do notice they do a better job wiping the surface with less lift.
Have a look:
- Revolutionary flex design leads to continuous even pressure of the blade to your windshield leading to a superior wipe in all weather conditions
- Hingeless design virtually eliminates snow and ice build-up
- Low-profile technology leads to superior aerodynamics virtually eliminating wind-lift
- Exclusive to Canadian Tire
- Available in eight sizes, from 16"-24"

ok, just got back from a drive in the snow, and I am going to have to say I am kind of disappointed.
They still smeared a little bit for some reason, but keep in mind there was already snow on teh windshield when I installed them, so that might have had something to do with it. The part that was smearing appeared to have ice on the actual rubber blade itself, adn that was causing the smearing, so we'll see how it does tonight after it freezes.

There was a thread on these in car talk:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=wipers
I've been waiting for NighthawkBlue to give a follow up review...
I'll probably go w/ OEMs again (dealer usually throws them on for free when I get service done)....
