Blown Front Speakers
OK, so if anyone read my other thread I did end up buying a new cd player. Its a Pioneer 7700, however there has been a slight wrinkle. When I picked up the car from having it installed, the installer informaed me that both the front speakers were blown as a result of the new cd player being more powerful than the old one. Is this a line of complete shit, or does this actaully happen. Also what would be a good set of component speakers to get if I end up having to replace the front speakers myself. Thanks.

They go for a really cheap price and are great. I think i saw that you wanted infinity. Ive had the 6.1 perfects and overall they sucked crap. Highs are too sharp and midbass was just whack. So yeah. just my
