Couldn't stomach the color difference on the fogs, so I picked up a cheap set of silverstars and the color temp should be a lot more white than the PIAA's, so I'm gonna give those a shot because I can't bring myself to kick out more money for another set of HID's right now. Like I said whenever I swap the bumper over the winter I plan to get a set of HID's but for now I'll be happier with these I figure. Just couldn't deal with that color difference it was stickin out too much for me. It still won't match the 6000K perfect cuz the silverstars are 4000K color but at least they will look more like they belong.

I just spent $30 on silverstars, I trust them better than 1 cent ebay bulbs, even though they will probably be more blue/white I want something functional

Alright, so got the silverstars in, melted the solder off the piaa's, and soldered in the Silverstars. The output doesn't match still, but I'll fix that later with a set of HID's. But on the car, the projectors are white and no more orange light, so that's what I was worried about. The look on the car matches closer at least, here's a few pics.

At least it was $20 well spent, got $50 fog bulbs for $20 so it was worth the extra effort

Moving this week, so gotta find time to cut out the stock fogs so I can get the new ones mounted to put the bumper back on, also got some interior work to do, but think if I get the bumper on, I'll just move it and do the interior work in my bigger garage. I'll post some pics once i get the fogs in there

I'm not one to advertise where I live, when you're dumping all this money and time into a show car, you don't really want everyone in pittsburgh knowing where your car is sitting

Anywho, small steps, bumper is ready to go back on once I mount the fogs, decided just to ghetto rig them since I'm replacing the bumper cover this winter so I'll be puttin the bumper and the hood on tomorrow Anyway, being anal, I had to replace the corners with something brighter because after I smoked the headlight corners, and bought smoked corners for the bottom, I noticed that the light output through the smoked corners was limited a good bit, plus the PIAA's i had were only the super blues, and they've come out with way brighter ones, so I picked up 2 pairs of PIAA Extreme HID corners for the top and bottom, and boy what a difference. Here's some more teaser pics, since the bumper will be on hopefully tomorrow since i'm moving saturday

Maybe you should have used amber bulbs to contrast a bit. What color are the turn signals gonna be? blue as well? haha that would be pretty crazy. But im sure it will come out nice when its all put together. Are you highbeams green??

High beams are green

Turn signals are chrome amber bulbs, probably soon to be replaced with amber led's. And the blue just shows up on the camera, they really just look white, way brighter than the super whites I had b4, after the tinting they just look orange, these look white. They match the fogs

Yes that's the old bumper it's got 2 holes in it, but it was needed to move the car so I threw it back on her, but man the CF hood with the headlights is unbelievable. I really wanna get better pics cuz they flow so good together.
