Ok, I can finally show my face in public now. I got my car lowered. I've decided that I'm going to go with Powder coating my stock rims, and taking the rims I have on the car off..but here are pics of what my car looked like before and after the springs..

Lookin' better than it was. Those tires are rubber bands though man, and it's killing you.

If I were you, I woulda went lower that 1.5" for sure. I do like those wheels though.

Yeah I know the tires are killing me, I feel it during the drive too. But shit, I paid 200 for Rims and tires off of Craigslist, so I really can't complain. I'm changing my tires either this week, or next I'm going with 245/15/17, instead of the 205/40/17 i'm sitting on now. Or just powder coat my Stock rims, I don't know what I wanna do.

How wide are those wheels that you're putting 245s on them? Don't they have to be at least 7.5" or 8" wide? Perhaps you meant 215/45/17?

Gonna put a plow on the front of that 4x4?

I think the problem is needing taller tires. I think the wheels look fine.

yeah, the rims are really killing the drop, but I think you should drop it another inch. Like others said, the springs will probably settle a bit more, but your car would look sooo much better if you're down around 1 or no finger gaps (although I understand that isn't practical for everyone)

You need taller tires. Even then, it's a conservative drop. Drop it some more.

Tires are coming soon, they are already ordered, on their way. I know I could of went lower, but at this point i'm happy at the drop. I come from driving SUVs all my life to driving a 2 door, so I think I'm going to have to gradually lower it.
