Audio enhancements are difficult

My cousin told me that I shouldn't buy an aftermarket head unit for my CL because the CL has dual amps or something, and that I would have to buy something to make it work with a aftermarket headunit and that it wouldn't be worth it. Is he full of BS?

the only amp i know of is in the rear trunk. You can bypass it, but your system might not sound as good cause i think factory speakers are 3 ohms or some wierd number like that as opposed to the standard 4 ohms. If you dont want to bypass the amp, i think you can just buy an adapter that plugs in between your new receiver and the factory wiring harness.
